There’s something about running a ridgeline that just hits different. Big sky, big views, legs burning a little, but you don’t really care because look at that lake.

This piece is two people moving along the tops above Lake Hāwea side by side, chasing that feeling of being up high with nowhere else to be. Wind in your ears, tussock underfoot, that endless blue stretching out below.

It’s about shared miles and simple moments. The kind you remember later and think, yep… that was a good day.
