Cass Valley (Bad Decision Whisky Hut)
Inspired by a few pretty special days ski touring in the Cass Valley, this artwork features the tiny red Bad Decision Whisky Hut, perched high in the mountains of Glenmore Station. At around 2,100 metres, it’s a pretty unique spot surrounded by huge alpine peaks, snow and endless views.
I’ve given this piece a playful 1980s ski-poster feel, inspired by the colourful ski gear and graphics of the era. A little celebration of bluebird days, fresh snow, whisky at the hut and adventures in the Southern Alps.
